A reputable gas bar and retail business in Saskatoon, SK is hiring a part-time Cashier to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible work hours and on-the-job training in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate an electronic cash register and price scanner
- Scan and bag customer purchases
- Process payments (cash, credit, debit)
- Reconcile shift totals with daily sales
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Restock shelves and maintain a clean counter area
- Perform suggestive selling and participate in store promotions
- Verify customer age when selling restricted items (alcohol, lottery, tobacco)
- Replenish fuel and assist customers at the gas bar
- Respond appropriately during emergencies and assist authorities if needed
Required Skills and Experience
- Language: English
- Education: High school diploma (Secondary school graduation certificate)
- Experience: None required – training will be provided
- Work Setting: Gas bar and retail business
- Technology Knowledge: Electronic cash register, price scanner
- Physical Requirements: Bending, crouching, walking, standing, attention to detail
