Staff reporter: A new cardiac hospital has been inaugurated in the city's Mirpur Road. The specialized cardiac hospital has 25 hours emergency services, latest equipment of diagnosing heart-diseases, ambulance service, trained nurses and country's best heart specialists.
The hospital will keep its door open for all heart patients. Dr. Jamal Ali, residential officer of the hospital said, "We hope to give our service at a very competitive rate. Besides, we will offer 10% discount on every test. The hospital has 100 beds now and we will increase it up to 200 beds."
Health secretary was the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony. In his speech, he said that heart patient now no longer need to go abroad as the country now can take pride in world class medical and service facilities. He hoped that the hospital's reputed doctor would motivate patients to take treatment at home and foreign exchange.
