Subject: Prayer for permission to stage a drama
Madam,
We, the students of your school, beg most respectfully to state that we want to stage a drama relating to our Liberation War in our school auditorium. The staging of the drama as well as its preparations will require an amount of Rupees five thousand. We have already started rehearsal for the same under the guidance of Mrs. Noor Mohal, our Bengali teacher.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to give us permission to stage the drama in the school auditorium along with a sanction of rupees five thousand from the cultural fund of the school. Should you be kind enough to grant our prayer, we shall remain ever grateful to you.
