I beg most respectfully to state that I am a student of class IX in your school. I could not attend my classes from 20th to 22nd March on account of a sudden attack of influenza. A medical certificate is enclosed herewith in support of my statement.
May I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant me leave of absence for those days and oblige thereby.
