Me: Assalamuyalikum Mam! Good Afternoon. 😊
VO: Walaikum Asslam, Good Afternoon. Pass me your passport & I20.
Me: Yep, sure mam. Here it is.
VO: So why Cleveland State University?
Me: I have choose this university for various reason. First of all this is a research base public state university. This is one of the best & well reputed university for Civil engineering & this university offer STEM designated subject as well. Secondly, This university has best course structure, enrich LAB facilities, well research opportunities & extra curriculum activities & multi cultural diversity as I want & also I have read lots of journal which was published by this universities professors. I'm a big fan of Dr. Nilufer Dural. I have read lots of research paper and I want learn from her. Finally I got thousand dollars scholarship per year.
VO: Okay! Did you travelled any country?
Me: Yes mam. Last time i have visited in India.
VO: Who is going to sponsor your education?
Me: My father will be sponsoring me.
VO: What does he do?
Me: My father is a businessman. He is owner of “Chowdhury Enterprise”. This is basically a vehicles motor parts business & he is retail & wholesale seller. He has been in this business more than 15 years. This is a well reputed motor shop in Chattogram. Apart from that, he is owner of three cover vans from there he has rental income. Additionally, My father has some agricultural land in our hometown which he received from my grandfather from there he has some agricultural income as well. Overall he is financially very sound & solvent, I will not face any problem regarding my tuition fees and other expenses during my study.
VO: Typing..... Okay! Unfortunately you are not eligible for this Visa under section 214B.
Me: Thank you mam.
I was so disappointed since VO was rejecting almost everyone.
I had all my documents with me and i was confident that i still can't believe i was rejected!
What should i do now?
