Me- Good Morning Officer!
VO- Good Morning!
(Waited for 1min, the VO was typing something on his PC, then he checked my i20 and passport, entered my sevis ID I guess on his PC)
VO- What are your Study Plans in USA?
(He was speaking in a low voice. I didn't heard clearly what he asked so I asked him to repeat his question)
Me- "I'm going to University of Wisconsin Madison for Masters in Industrial Engineering for Fall 2022 term."
VO- What was your Undergrad in?
Me- "I did my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering."
VO- What was your GPA?
Me- Told my GPA on the scale of 10.
VO- Who is sponsoring your education?
Me- "My parents are sponsoring my education with XX lakhs along with this I have taken an education loan of XX lakhs."
VO- What does your sponsors do?
Me- Told about my Parents profession with their annual income.
VO- Please Scan your left hand 4 fingers
While Passing the documents back to me, He said that Golden Words...
Your VISA IS APPROVED!
Me- Thank you Officer!
Tips: Be Calm,confident, loud and clear in your answers. If you are not able to hear the VOs voice ask him/her to repeat the question in a polite manner.
It's raining heavily in Mumbai . Carry your Umbrellas and proper covering for documents.
