MADRID — Spanish fragrance distributor Perfumes y Diseño (PyD) has announced a new strategic agreement with Italian perfume powerhouse EuroItalia, expanding their partnership to now include distribution and support services for premium and niche fragrance brands across Spain and Andorra.
The agreement will see PyD provide commercial, logistical, and operational support for a portfolio of EuroItalia’s most prestigious brands. These include global icons in the selective fragrance channel—Versace, Moschino, Michael Kors, and Dsquared2—as well as exclusive niche perfumery houses like Atelier Versace, Atkinsons, and Brunello Cucinelli.

This collaboration marks a pivotal evolution in EuroItalia’s Spanish market approach, as it moves into a more direct business model, underpinned by PyD’s proven distribution and market expertise.
A Continued Collaboration, Now Expanded
The new Spain-Andorra agreement is not the first time PyD and EuroItalia have joined forces. The two companies have already built a successful partnership in Portugal, where PyD subsidiary Aromas Internacionais has been handling the distribution of EuroItalia’s brands for several years.
“We are happy to start a new and fruitful stage with EuroItalia,” said Pedro Trolez Cortina, CEO of Perfumes y Diseño. “We are proud to market these iconic perfumery brands, which have undoubtedly left and will continue to leave their mark on consumers.”
The new arrangement reflects both companies’ commitment to enhancing brand visibility, increasing market penetration, and elevating customer experiences in Spain and Andorra—markets known for their deep appreciation of both mainstream and niche fragrance offerings.
A Hybrid Business Model with Strategic Support
The alliance is structured around a hybrid model in which EuroItalia retains direct market involvement, while leveraging PyD’s deep knowledge of the Iberian fragrance market, retail relationships, and operational infrastructure.
“We are excited about our new venture in the Spanish market, which marks a different business model with a direct involvement of EuroItalia supported by PyD services,” said Claudio Tenan, Export Director of EuroItalia. “We are convinced the new model will deliver strong support to our Spanish retailers for the benefit of our brands’ performance in Spain.”
Strengthening the Premium and Niche Fragrance Landscape in Spain
This move positions both companies to capitalize on the growing demand for luxury and niche perfumes in Spain and Andorra. With evolving consumer preferences increasingly favoring exclusive, high-quality scent experiences, the addition of Atelier Versace, Atkinsons, and Brunello Cucinelli to the PyD portfolio signals a strategic push into premium olfactory storytelling and craftsmanship.
