Job Responsibilities:
As a glazier, your duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
- Measuring, marking, and cutting glass to precise dimensions
- Assembling and installing prefabricated glass elements such as windows, mirrors, and other glass products
- Installing door, window, and associated hardware
- Repairing and maintaining existing glass doors, windows, and other glass structures
You will be required to work on-site, meaning all duties must be carried out at the physical job location in Burnaby.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Language: English (proficiency required)
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar glazier or glass installation role
- Physical Capability: Must be physically fit, as the role is physically demanding and may involve lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and handling large glass materials
