Lead a Dynamic Restaurant Team in Beautiful Nanaimo, BC
Are you an experienced leader in the hospitality industry looking for a fresh opportunity in Canada? A reputable restaurant in Nanaimo, BC is hiring a full-time Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff, and help deliver outstanding dining experiences.
This is a permanent position with a competitive hourly wage, offering a chance to live and work in one of Vancouver Island’s most scenic cities.
Key Responsibilities:
As Restaurant Manager, you will:
- Evaluate and manage daily restaurant operations
- Plan, organize, and supervise shifts and staff assignments
- Train and mentor team members to maintain high service standards
- Set staff schedules and ensure efficient labour allocation
- Address customer complaints and provide quick, effective solutions
- Participate in marketing and promotional planning
- Negotiate with clients for catering services and private event bookings
- Manage on-site events and special functions
Qualifications:
Education:
College diploma or CEGEP in hospitality, business, or a related field
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years in a managerial or supervisory hospitality role
Language:
English (required)
