Looking to advance your career as a truck mechanic in Canada? A well-established transport and logistics company in Langley, BC is now hiring Truck and Transport Mechanics to join their growing team.
This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a competitive wage of $38/hour, steady hours, and the chance to work on a range of heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal for trades professionals already in Canada — or for international applicants from Europe with relevant training and experience — who are looking to immigrate and build a life in British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and inspect mechanical and electronic systems on heavy trucks and trailers
Adjust, repair or replace faulty parts and components in:
Truck-trailer systems
Commercial transport systems
Automotive mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform safety inspections and routine maintenance
- Test and adjust systems to manufacturer specifications
- Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs and labor
- Advise customers on repairs completed and future maintenance needs
Work Environment:
- Work is on-site only (no remote option)
- Outdoor and indoor work settings
- Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and physically demanding tasks
- Must be able to stand for long periods and use hand tools with precision
Qualifications:
Education:
Trade certification or diploma (or equivalent experience) in heavy-duty mechanics or truck repair
- Experience:

Minimum 1 year of related hands-on work experience
Language:
English (basic verbal and written)
Personal Suitability:
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Reliable, dependable, and flexible
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good judgment and diagnostic skills
