Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, synthesize, purify, and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds
- Modify compounds as required for product optimization
- Conduct research into synthesis methods and reaction mechanisms
- Use advanced analytical techniques including chromatography
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development
- Maintain detailed documentation of lab results and project reports
Requirements:
Education:
Doctorate (PhD) in Organic Chemistry or a related field
Equivalent research experience may be considered
Experience:
Experience is an asset, but new PhD graduates are welcome to apply
Language:
English (professional reading, writing, and communication)
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Familiarity with chromatography and other analytical chemistry techniques
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong data interpretation and technical report writing skills
