How to Get Image URL from Facebook and Use It as a Profile Picture

If you're looking to set your Profile Picture (Image URL) using a photo uploaded to Facebook, follow these simple steps:


Step 1: Upload Your Image to Facebook

  1. Go to your Facebook profile or page.

  2. Create a new post.

  3. Click on Photo/Video and upload your image.

  4. Add any caption you like (optional), then click Post.

Step 2: Get the Image URL

  1. Once the post is live, click on the image to open it in full view.

  2. Right-click on the image (or tap and hold on mobile), then select “Copy image address” or “Open image in new tab”.

  3. If you opened it in a new tab, copy the URL from the browser address bar.



This URL will look something like:

Step 3: Paste URL into Profile Picture Field

  1. Go to your website or platform where you're asked to provide a Profile Picture (Image URL).

  2. Paste the copied Facebook image URL into the input field.

  3. Save or submit your changes.
