A Moon-lit-night
A moon-lit night is a pleasant and enjoyable time for us, especially when it is a full moon. On such a night, the moon appears before us with all her magnificent beauty. It looks like a dazzling silver disk in the sky. The sparkling stars twinkle around it, and the sky looks like a large canopy flooded with light. Everything seems to be wrapped in silvery beams of the moon, which bathes the whole earth in her pleasant light.
Rivers, canals, and ponds seem to laugh in the splendid light of the moon. The patches of clouds shine with the silvery glow. A moon-lit night has a great influence on the minds of people of all ages. Little children can hardly think of going to bed without enjoying the beauty of the night. Newly married couples come out of their homes to spend some hours outdoors and enjoy the moonlight. Elderly men and women also can’t stay indoors; they gather in the courtyard and spend hours gossiping and enjoying the night.
Poets and lovers of nature feel a thrill of joy in their minds on such a night. Even birds and animals leave their resting places to enjoy the beauty of the moon-lit night. In Bangladesh, the beauty of a moon-lit night is best enjoyed in the open fields. If we look at the fields and meadows on a moon-lit night, they seem like a fairyland. Moreover, Bangladesh, being a riverine country, has many rivers where the moonlight creates an impressive and attractive scene as it flows over the water.
Of all aspects of nature, a moon-lit night is perhaps the most beautiful and enchanting. It takes us away from the monotony of our daily routine and inspires us to be sublime in thoughts and deeds.
