Bangladesh’s SSC and equivalent exam results for 2025 are expected to be published by July 25, say education board officials. Over 1.92 million students took part in the nationwide exams held in April and May.
Bangladesh Education Boards Target July 25 for SSC and Equivalent Exam Results
The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) 2025 exams and their equivalent qualifications are expected to be published by July 25, according to senior officials from Bangladesh’s education boards.
With the SSC practical exams having concluded on May 25, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee is working to ensure the results are released within the traditional 60-day timeframe following the end of examinations.
Dhaka Board Chairman Confirms Result Timeline
Speaking to bdnews24.com, Khondokar Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed ongoing efforts to publish the SSC results within the expected schedule.
“The SSC practical exams concluded on May 25. Based on that, we expect to be able to publish the results by July 25,” he said.
This timeline follows the long-standing tradition of publishing results within two months of exam completion.
OMR Sheet Collection and Evaluation Underway
According to SM Kamal Uddin Haider, Controller of Examinations at the Dhaka Education Board, the evaluation process is already in motion. Despite initial delays due to some chief examiners being reluctant to collect answer scripts, the situation has improved following official instructions.
“Most chief examiners have now collected the scripts. Submission of OMR sheets has started, and the final deadline for submission is June 15,” Haider stated.
With OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet scanning and mark entry currently in progress, education board officials expect to finalize the result announcement date once regular office operations resume.
Over 1.92 Million Students Participated
The written portion of the SSC and equivalent exams 2025 took place from April 10 to May 13, followed by practical exams concluding on May 25. A total of 1.92 million students registered for this year's exams. However, reports confirm that more than 30,000 students were absent for one or more subjects.
Education Ministry Committed to Timely Result Publication
Education Advisor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining the traditional result publication schedule. Speaking after visiting Motijheel Government Boys High School during the first day of the exams, he stated:
“If this is the tradition — I’m sure it is — we’ll try our best to publish the results accordingly.”
